The room and the staff in the hotel were fantastic. It was very clean and had a decent few of the beach and Waikiki in general. Our understanding is that most of the units in the hotels are individually owned and managed by the hotel. The restaurants in the hotel, the spa, the gym, everything was first class. Hawaii 5-0 Rentals LLC are great too. Very communicative and prompt. It was fairly easy to make reservatins from their web site. The only down side to the hotel is the name Trump. Donald Trump can be a bit of a jerk with his self serving and arrogant public comments. However his hotel is top notch. You can't stay at a better place. Stayed for 3 days in March, 2012 After a 16 hour travel experience with delays and sleeplessness the wonderfull feeling of a great King mattress is second to none. My wife and son were delighted with the pillows and linen. My son slept on the Queen sofa bed with NO complaints. The cleaning staff and reception were attentive to our needs. Hawaii 5-0 delivered a finished product with absolutely no flaws. After a 3 night stay we flew to a wonderful cruise in Tahiti ( Paul Gauguin Cruises} but the beds do no compare in the least. The view from the 2020 balcony overlooked Embassy Suites pool area and the view of the ocean is partially obstructed but overall Unit 2020 was perfect. The twentieth floor eliminates many disturbances. The pool is narrow but also does not invite a large crowd at any one time so one can swim in private most of the time. I have travelled the world and Trump private residences are priced well for what they offer. This was our fourth trip to Hawaii in different hotels but this was the best. The studio is roomy, the 2 bedrooms are huge, and the 1 bedrooms are just right. But price performance wize, the studio seems the best.
