From the initial communication with the real estate agency to the final day, the whole process was conducted professionally and efficiently; the agency was quick to respond to queries and questions and there was not one snafu along the way. Phoned about a lightbulb going out and it was replaced while we were out. The place was chic, centrally located yet a block away from the really high traffic area, yet steps away from the bus stop. We walked to the zoo (highly recommended), the aquarium and the beach. The bed was comfortable and had a t.v in the bedroom and another in the living room. Perfect for a family of four and ideal for us two. Enjoyed sitting in the balcony at the end of the day and watching the world go by below and the ocean view in front of us. Tips for Unit #1711 Carol U. from Blackville, NB recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in September, 2011 Overall we were very happy guests however there are a few things I would suggest to make this unit a bit more comfortable.The shower area was not private. My sister was in unit #1710 and it had a much better bathroom area and kitchen layout. Provide a curtain across bath area to provide a bit of privacy. The kitchen was well equipped however there was absolutely nil counter space for any meal/drink prep and no cupboard space to store any groceries. Everything always seemed to be laying on top of the stove (very dangerous) and everything always looked like it was in a mess; prehaps instead of that set of table and chairs which was lovely but completely useless..we NEVER used it. Take that out and put in a portable island/work station with storage underneath and put a couple of stools with it. That would give more work prep surface/storage space and also provide a place to sit, prepare a cocktail etc. Having only a single basin in the kitchen makes your sink useless for anything else when washing dishes. Provide a dishpan that way you can still wash dishes and be able to use sink as well. The TV's were great and the view was amazing. We were so close to the beach and everything. Perfect that way. Lots of towels, hot water,awesome shower, and the AC worked great. The tub area was useful to put sandy beach things into. Great place to rinse off and store floaties,sandy bottomed coolers etc. The sink area in bathroom was well designed with lots of drawers to put everything in which kept all that "stuff" we use out of sight yet right there when you needed it. The bedroom provided lots of storage space and he bed was very comfortable. Having the cushion tiled floors made it easy to sweep and kept the sand from the beach easy to clean up. Overall we were quite satisfied. Barbara was so helpful. Thanks for everything. Our unit was clean, amply equipped with a nice ocean view. The WPH is in an ideal location with restaurants and stores within easy walking distance. The International market place is less than 10 minutes walk away from the condo and the beach is literally just some steps away. Having access to transit (bus) is another plus point, as it travels regularly along Kuhio Avenue. If you have enough time, rent a car and take a day trip to the North Shore the beaches are amazing! There are various "shrimp trucks" around and it's a must to try out the cuisine they have to offer. It is a great experience.
