Nice and comfy A guest from Riverside, CA recommends this property. Stayed for 9 days in February, 2013 Was clean, safe and convenient for our week's stay (two adults, two kids under 8). The loft upstairs has a large bed and small bathroom that was perfect for our kids. Our bedroom had a comfy bed, small flatscreen and A/C which we didn't need to use. Kitchen opens into the living room area, which had a flatscreen and basic cable. Yes, some of the furniture might seem out dated to some, but we liked the Hawaiian theme and it was fun for the kids. The bathrooms were suitably clean but could benefit from a deep cleaning and a major update. No WIFI which to me, is a HUGE problem in 2013- I probably won't stay here again unless they add it!! Our family uses the internet for fun and work and we had to bring an expensive portable hot spot so I could get some work done. We ate in often and kitchen had all the basics. No ants or bugs, but the kids did like the cute geckos on the balcony. Balcony was great, overlooks the golf course and is great for birdwatching. You can see the ocean and hear it 24 hrs a day. The beach at Turtle Bay resort is about a 10 minute walk, and a nice spot for kids (the waves are mellow). Staff was great, answered all my questions via email. Worst stay of our lives. Reviewed by: Chad D. does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2013 Do not allow yourself to stay with this rental company. They run a very low grade and high price operation. The office is located at least 8 minutes away from the property. They never answer the phone at the office. Our property was not even the same as the pictures. They had done some renovation but not updated all of the pictures. They have removed all of the tub mechanical drains and replaced them with rubber plugs. There was only enough hot water for about a 4 min shower. They did come and turn up the thermostat so that we could take a bath. There was a $130 cleaning fee we had to pay but the sheets had hair in them, the bathroom floor was covered in hair, there was a dead and dried up gecko on the nightstand and ants in the bathroom. Then your checkout instructions tell you to take out the trash. Obviously because they don't clean the places and they don't want the trash rotting in the rooms. The furnishings were from the early 80's. They offered for us to stay in another room and when we looked at it there was mouse poop on the counters and dead cockroaches on the floors. I spoke to another owner and he rents his same property out at almost half the price. After you pay the cleaning fee you should be able to expect a very clean room. For these prices you should have a nice room without having to complain and driving 8 minutes each way to communicate with the office because they refuse to answer the phones. By the way the office is in worse condition than the rooms. It just shows the lack of pride that the company takes in its properties. Good rates for the area, condo needs updating A guest from Chandler, AZ does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2012 The location is great, walking distance to Turtle Bay and a quick drive to all the shrimp trucks and the north shore. The washer/dryer was quite useful. Condo could use a fresh coat of paint and updating to the bathroom fixtures. The loft needs an AC unit. The parking lot is much tighter and difficult to negotiate than the west properties. My wife and I checked in late so the rental company gave us instructions to get into the condo after hours. The gate code provided didn't work so I had to contact security to get in. Only problem I had was that I wasn't aware this was an upstairs location. The stairs were very steep including the stairs to th barbara k. from Waianae, HI recommends this property. Our only complaints was the fact that there was only one A/C unit in the master bedroom so the living room and loft area were very warm at night even with the fans going on high.
