First class Tommy Bahama furnishings with all thekitchen/cookiing extras made it a true home-away from home. The layout of the home was perfect for our 3-couple, weeks'-long stay. The double wall-to-the corner sliding glass doors opened up the great room to the pool/patio and was a bonus addition! What can you say about the view? High enough to have a 180' camera shot, yet not that far from shopping, snorkeling, restaurants and paddle boarding! The one issue we had was professionally remedied by Chris @ Kona Coast Vacations. The house was beautifully decorated, felt brand new, and had everything we needed. It truly was home for us, and we wish we could've stayed there longer. The views of the ocean were just as the photos show online. We spent many hours just hanging out on the lanai and by the pool reading and enjoying the wonderful view. The house had cable, wireless internet, a private drive, and beach chairs/umbrellas/mats that we didn't expect but were very happy about! Everything was perfect, and we'd definitely stay there again. We're so glad we selected the house over another that we were considering. The only things we needed that the house didn't have was a whisk (we cooked), and we wish there had been more toilet paper - 2 minor things! Hale Aikane is above and beyond your ordinary rental. We truly felt like pampered guests with every high end amenity included. The view was outstanding and we always looked forward to seeing which cruise ship was docked for us to see that morning. We loved the disappearing pocket doors between the pool and the living area as we could be sitting in the living room and still feel as if we were sitting by the pool. It really enlarged the whole living space. We enjoyed the feeling of outdoor living especially in the tropical climate. The home is in a very nice neighborhood and yet very private because of the way the house is situated on its lot. The value for your money in renting this home is beyond compare.
