Stayed for 7 days in February, 2013 The condo was well situated from beach but situated in last complex at least 3 street corner from beach, no elevator, would not be good for a person with physical handicap. For our family of 5 it was good with 3 rooms & bathrooms.The cleanliness was to say the least passable. The linen on beds very worn out & absolutely wrinkle. Old blood stains on pillow cases & yellow drool stains on pillows showing through. 1 dish cloth in the kitchen grey looking & full of holes.The carpet all over was full of stains.The place would need a major cleaning & fresh paint . Wanted a good nights sleep Michael K. from Campbell River, BC does not recommend this property. Stayed for 14 days in January, 2013 The overall appreance and presentation was just as shown from website. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable as were the pillows. The carpeting in the bedrooms were dirty, stained and unclean (did not appear to be vacuumed), the glasses had oily film and finger prints as well as the cutlery had food and finger prints. So after seeing this we hand washed all the dishes, pots and utensils. We did not find any scubbers or cleaner for the rangel. Why are there only a couple of bowls and 1 coffee mug!! This unit has 3 bedrooms with sofa bed, there should be enough dishes and cutlery for 8 people. When leaving we stripped the bed in the master bedroom and found a HUGE STAIN ON THE MATTRESS!! What heppened here! This made us feel very sick, after our friends seeing this they did not remove their bedding. We enjoyed the ammenities the facility offered and found the location great. Just a few suggestions; a curtain over the glass on the doors of the bedroom that opens into the living room would give those staying in that room more privacy, updating the furniture in the living room and cleaning of the carpets would enhance the condo's general appeal and comfort.Also the code that was given to us to enter the condo on our first day was not correct and we had to call to retrieve the right one.We loved Maui and found the location of the Condo very central to where we wanted to walk and or travel with a vechicle. Maui Banyan 3 bedroom condo A guest from Homboldt, SK recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in January, 2013 This was a great area to stay in. The property is right across the road from the ocean. The condo is at the back of the property but you can see a piece of the ocean from the is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator so it is not the place for anyone who has trouble doing steps or doesn't want to make a few trips up and down with your beach stuff, groceries etc. The lanai off the living room faces the parking lot but has some nice palm trees for privacy.The kitchen has been redone and is well equipped. The bedrooms are nice and spacious.There is a washer and dryer in the unit located in the master suite.There are 3 full bathrooms which worked well since we shared with 3 couples.The one downside is there are glass doors from one bedroom into the main living area. We had to hang blankets over them for privacy and to keep out the light from the living room if someone else wanted to stay up late or get up early in the morning without disturbing the couple using that bedroom. I would suggest they put some room darkening shades on those doors.There were beach chairs, toys etc supplied and free public WiFi and a television in each room.There are 2 pools with hot tubs and 5 gas barbecue grills at each pool. I loved Maui. There is lots to keep you busy or not if you just want to sit back and enjoy the beach. We had the chance to view all the other relatives condo's in the nearby area as they also came to see our digs. Hands down they all agreed that we had the best condo. If I had to complain about something I would say that it was described as ocean view, but there was no ocean to be seen from our room. The unit was the farthest away from the beach and it was quite a hike with a toddler. We would have liked at least one locking bathroom door and at least one frying pan that did not peel teflon when used. Other than these few minor complaints, we knew there was no elevator which made the packing up and down with luggage and beach gear and toddler difficult. The room was spacious and clean. They also gave us a late checkout as we had an evening flight and was much appreciated. If you don't mind the hike up to your unit and room and no elevator and you like a quiet back end room,than this is the place for you. Maui Banyan T-306 VERY NICE, lacking some ammenities. A guest from Veneta, OR recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 Maui Banyan T-306 was immaculately clean! It is near shopping, restaurants and beaches. It's a great 3 bedroom condo, which are so hard to find on Maui! Just a few tips: you ask renters to sweep but do not provide a dust pan, the condo sleeps 6 (or 8 with the couch) but you only provide 4 bowls, we stayed for 7 nights and it states you provide 4 towels for each room, but we only each had 2, again only 5 beach towels (including 2 smalls ones) were provided, upon arrival we checked in and come to find out later that night we were locked out of our building because we were supposed to be given a key to get in the front door to the building, had to spend time late at night tracking down the night guard to let us in. Also, providing a cooler and more beach ammenities such as boogies boards and lounge chairs (the ones in there are TINY, made for small children). All in all, we would definately stay at Maui Banyan again, just would appreciate it having the basic ammenities. Maui banyan t306 A guest from Anchorage, AK does not recommend this property. Stayed for 10 days in May, 2012 The unit was not very clean and had issues with the air conditioning. The lanais were dirty and there were no back up linens or towels as promised. We had no privacy at all in one of the bedrooms and had to buy a sheet to hang up over the glass doors so our family didnt see us walking around in the nude. We came here to get married, the wedding was perfect, the condo was not. One rep from the managing company promised us a gift certificate to a restaurant for our bad experience but it never showed up. It really wasn't worth the price we paid and the inconvenience we had with the lack of air conditioning for several days and bad customer service. Would not recommend this unit or managing company.
