Stayed for 8 days in July, 2011 Condo was in good location and the kitchen was very well equipped with decent fry pans, etc. Needs new twin beds in loft but downstairs queen was good. Needed more towels for bathing. Downstairs bedroom has too much furniture in it. Needed blackout curtains in downstairs bedroom. Dining room table has seen better days. This condo would get a C plus from us. But overall love being at Lake Tahoe and all it has to offer! The photos were nothing like the real thing A guest from Moraga, CA does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in February, 2011 We did a search for a property with Wifi, and this property came up BUT did not have any - it caused my husband to drive around and search for a connection because he needed to work at night. He had to sit in the parking lot at Safeway until they turned off their Wifi at 1:30am - in the dead of winter. Very disappointing! And the property looked new and pristine in the photos but in real life, it was dingy and old. We could have stayed at the Northstar resort for a little bit more $ and had so much more for what we paid. We were surprised to find that there were NO windows that could be opened on the main floor near the kitchen table or in the loft. With the day temp in the mid 80's having only the two sliding doors on the main floor and master bedroom for fresh air was NOT ENOUGH. It was stuffy in the afternoon and evening and the fan in the loft was not adequate enough to cool the condo down. Condo at Tahoe A guest from Barrington, IL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in August, 2009 The kitchen was well equipped and there was enough space in the condo. We loved the porch. The place was dark. Dark wood, not enough light, dark carpet. It was out of date looking and almost depressing in this manner. The pool key was missing and it took almost our entire stay to replace it. We were mostly disappointed in how crowded the entire Lake Tahoe area is. It took away from our enjoyment of the trip. Pollution even seemed to hang over the lake so that we did not see the mountains on the other side clearly! But Emerald Bay was still beautiful and we recommend hiking to Eagle Lake Property Manager Response: unfortunately, a prior renter had walked off with the pool key. the owner of the property was unavailable for 2 days to authorize the distribution of the new key (renter was their for 3). the renters were able to gain access to the pool everyday during their stay, but they are correct that the key was unavailable initially. It was a beautiful retreat. The interiors were old but exceptionally clean. Everything we needed was available. We were nervous about doing everything online but it worked out well.
