Our luxury Master Bathroom includes a jetted soaking tub, and all of our additional bathrooms include linens and bathrobes with showers and vanity mirrors.We have a fully equipped commercial kitchen with maple cabinets, granite counters, stainless appliances, and a refrigerator with filtered water. The dining room overlooks Lake Las Vegas and seats up to 8 people at a large pub style table. Do NOT stay with Sandy Vacations! Birgit P. from Cologne, Germany does not recommend this property. Stayed for 56 days in November, 2012 While the property's location was just beatiful, we really can not recommend anybody to book with Sandy Vacations.Community services (e.g. Clubhouse usage) was not avaialable due to financial problems of Sandy Vacations. In addition they did not manage to get spare parts for a fireplace within 8 weeks and in December the heating system was blowing cold air for more than 2 weeks.If you have a look to the internet there are many other offers available at the same community. Property Manager Response: Response from Sandy Vacations LLC This guest complained that the heat would not get above 78 degrees. We sent repairmen out on 3 separate occassions to arrive to a thermostat reading of 75 degrees and windows and doors open. The fireplace was repaired. The Clubhouse is not operated by Sandy Vacations, therefore not affected by any financial situations of this entity. Our view from the balcony was spectacular, the clubhouse was gorgeous and the location was perfect. Just far enough from the strip to truly relax but still close enough to the strip to quickly drive there for the evening. Lake Mead is only 10 minutes away with challenging hiking and biking trails. Boulder City is an adorable, quaint small town that is only 15 minutes away. The Lakes Las Vegas is one of the best places to vacation because the location brings everything close to you - all 7 travelers in our group were happy (ages 10 to 54)!!! On this stay there were a few things that were not up to the usual standards. The master bath shower floor appeared dirty, and several of the floor tiles were chipped or cracked giving it an uncared for, or over used appearance. All the bathroom towels were still damp on the towel racks and had to be put back in the dryer before use. Several over head light bulbs were out. We had everything we needed for the week, either in the condo or in the resort facilities. Every service and restaurant imaginable is a short drive from the resort and Vegas is less than 30 minutes away. For us it was perfect; close enough to go for dinner or a show, but far enough away that you weren't dealing with the usual Vegas crowds and traffic all the time. The condo itself is gorgeous, well maintained and it has a beautiful view of Lake Las Vegas.
