It was spacious, clean, charming, cozy, everything we needed from a condo for our vacation. We travel to different mountainside condos yearly and this was the best one we've ever stayed at. Loon reservation services was amazing. We were stuck in Lincoln NH during Winter Storm Nemo and they were so eager to work with us to extend our trip and find us a rental that was safe and met our needs. They even offered to come and pick us up with their 4 wheel drive vehicles if we couldn't get through all the snow to the mountains. Such amazing customer service. Such a wonderful experience! It was not that clean, black hairs found everywhere and lots of nasty bugs and cobwebs. 2. It was not made clear that the loft space is dangerous for young children, therefore our sleeping arrangements had to be altered. 3. The mattresses were terribly uncomfortable, springs sticking into me while sleeping in master bed. 4. Couch needs to be steam cleaned, my husband had an allergy attack every time he sat on it. 5. Both my kids cut their toes on broken pieces of slate in front of the fireplace. 6. No light in master closet 7. No vaccuum and dustpan was bent so didn't work. 8. Sheets and towels were of lowest possible quality. Will not be returning, used to much better accomodations. Also, gym was not open until 9:30AM which is unlike anywhere we have ever been. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2011 As far as Loon Reservation Services you guys are the best. As for this property 52W it is in need of updating. Floors are a mess (Kitchen and baths)Beds are very uncomfortable. People always say buy a firm mattress it will last longer, ya so does granite coutertops but I don't want to sleep on one. Major hotels don't see it that way, they buy plush. A comfortable stay means people will come back. At least invest in a more comfortable bed for the master bedroom where the parents stay. Hey we are the ones spending the money to take our kids on vacation the least we could get is a comfortable bed. Kids can sleep on the floor and be happy. This unit could also use some better cooking ware. A flat electric griddle would be great for cooking pancakes and feeding the family fast to get to the slopes plus they are only $30 bucks at Walmart. Bottom line, this unit is a diamond in the rough. If the owners don't want it I would be interesed in buying it and make it into what it could be. A true Loon Mtn getaway. Stayed for 4 days in December, 2010 We have rented approximately 12 units at the villages and I have to say by far this was the most outdated, and lacked personality. There were a couple of items of note: 1) No cookie sheets. 2) The toaster is not working properly. 3) The heater on the first floor bedroom is not working properly - the thermostat does not turn the unit off. 4) No light in the master bedroom closet. 5) No "wireless" internet. We had to position wireless devices near windows to pick up other units signals. Overall there are many other units at the villages that offer a more comfortable, cozy experience. The view was spectacular and having access to the shuttle this late in the season was much appreciated. I think we were spoiled at our previous locations. The condos were decorated very tastefully and were indeed a pleasure to stay in. This condo was comfortable, however it was definitely "more lived in" and seemed to have pieces of furniture kind of thrown together in the two main bedrooms. On of the people in our group said it looked like the furniture had been gathered at a garage sale. It was also disappointing that there was no closet in the downstairs bedroom. Overall, we always enjoy our stay and this will in no way affect our decision to return to Loon in seasons to come. The map and instructions given to us were unclear. The roads are not clearly marked making it stressful after a long trip. Otherwise the home was very nice, clean, and close to lots of attractions.
