Would not stay here again... A guest from Norwalk, Connecticut does not recommend this property. Stayed for 3 days in January, 2013 I would not recommend this unit to anyone. There was an issue everyday we were there. At one point we were using a bucket to take water out of the bathtub because it wouldn't drain. We were also always walking on a wet floor because the air conditioner dripped constantly from the ceiling. The windows don't stay open on their own; you have to use a pot to prop them up if you want to hear the ocean. And there were bugs at one point crawling on the window seals and onto the kitchen table.Staying in these private owned units is a pain because MiaVac is the only one that can help you if there is a problem. When their office is not open the phones are not answered which is why we were scooping water out of our bathtub the entire weekend.If/when we travel back to Miami; we will be choosing somewhere else. A good location, a basic apartment Diana V. from Miami Beach, Florida does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in March, 2012 The apartament was very basic: a bed without a headboard, a 'sofa-bed' that was really a couch with a collapsable back, a very noisy air-conditioning, NO lights just one cealing light connected to a fan (turning off the fan you turned off the light)and a bed-side lamp, a very unclean extra blanket. The bach room was good sized with enoufg towels. The kitchen was also fine, even though we never used it...All in all, an apartment that could have been pleasant with a little effort from the owner: a coat of paint, better furnishing... (Marina) we stayed in was okay. There was chipping of paint on the walls which wasn't welcoming. The room was clean however so we stayed. Very Disappointed A guest from Grand Island, Nebraska does not recommend this property. Stayed for 6 days in May, 2011 Had the room reserved for six nights but left after the first. Took the loss of money to stay somewhere more comfortable. Was not informed that the property was under renovation. The hallway carpet was stained and covered in paint. The room doors were dirty. The renovations were very loud. Found a huge dead cockroach under the night stand upon entering the room. One wall looked like it had a buger smeared across it while another wall looked like a soda had exploded on it. The shower curtain was completely stained. The toilet seat was about ready to fall off. The shower was extremely slow to drain. It took close to thirty minutes to drain after one shower. Left a message with management to explain why we were checking out early and never heard back from them.
