Disappointed Micheal A. from Bristol, CT does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in April, 2013 We opened the door to a strong smell of wet dog. The welcome mat was covered with dog hair. The rug in the living area was pilled from chemical treatments. I called Maintenance mid week looking for help, and had to call again 24 hours later. Two chairs were broken on the outside porch. The porch was covered with cob webs and inspects on the walls. Based on this experience I would not recommend any unit VR Pros manages. In fact, we had a contract on this unit, and we decided not to purchase it. We wished it was stocked a little more (ice cream scoop, measuring cups and spoons, cutting board, MORE towels, dish towels, dish cloths, plastic cups). Luckily I brought some dish towels and cloths from home or I would've had to buy some. Towels were few and not clean when we got in. Gave us the heebie-jeebies seeing brown stains on them. We washed them and they came out super white. A linen service would be nice. There is no DVD player so we couldn't watch movies when we wanted to. Besides those things above, the place was nice and accommodated our family nicely. Beds were comfy. Furniture was comfy. The location was great! It was a short walk to the beach and pool. We felt safe and secure in the gated community. Like previous guest stated, for the money we paid, we wish it was a little more upgraded and posh, but we had a great vacation regardless and it flew by!We would stay here again in the future. The management company was quite helpful when booking also. I had rented here five years ago so I knew about the location. When you rent in Palm Coast you pay a little more than some locations. Saying this, I think the owners could update a few things. Outdoor furniture rusted and one chair was broken on the seat. Box style tv's in bedroom. Flat screen in living room is small, could have been in bedroom. We also had many light bulbs out which should have been caught before check in. Literally only one out of the five in the kitchen worked. Glass doors had child imprints down at the height of a two year old. Quite sticky and noticeable. They are still building in the area so be careful. We got a roof nail in our tire and had to have it replaced. Please don't let this detour you. We really enjoyed it there! The view from the balcony is perfect! Beds and living room furniture, comfy. Great layout for families. Nice kitchen. We didn't call maintenance or I am sure they would have fixed the lighting. This is just info so that the owners or management company can make improvements. Like I said you can rent for about seven hundred less a week just down the coast which we have many times. When you rent at this place you expect luxury that Hammock beach is known for. So......updating, cleaning checks and maintenance need to be priority, other wise head down to Daytona or New Smyrna for older properties with less amenities! Oh yeah.. We live in Florida so we rent at least four times a year and understand what renters look for. Some folks may not have noticed but we know what many other units and properties look like! However, inside it needs some TLC. The carpets were not clean, the grout in the tile was black in the kitchen and parts of the hall and was meant to be white. The furniture in the living room needed to be cleaned. We threw blankets over the couch and chair before sitting on them. The beds were comfortable. Unnerving start to the trip, but overall great Rob T. from Harrison, Ohio recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2011 We had a late arrival to the unit (11pm) due to a flight time change. When we arrived at the condo Sat night, all the lights in the unit were on, all the TV's were on full volume, and the door was cracked open an inch. Traveling with my mother in law, wife and 2 small children, I was not about to check this out on my own, nor did I want to be blamed if something in the unit was stolen. Took about 45 mins to get the property manager to check it out and his explaination was that the cleaning crew didn't turn the stuff off, nor did they lock the door. Everything inside was fine, (except the master shower was dirty, which they cleaned the next day) and they did change the lock code and added an extra internal lock so we would feel safe. Besides that, the rest of the stay was great! It is the finest we have stayed in at Cinnamon Beach!! The condo is spacious, modern and has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal... From the huge balcony we would watch the sunrise and be overwhelmed by the gorgeous ocean view. Then at the end of the day, we would relax with a glass of wine and watch the dolphin swim by...excellent! The complex has every amenity with 2 large pools..the condo has WiFi, HDTV, Jacuzzi hot tub in the master bath...every thing to make our stay relaxing. We had want for nothing. We would literally walk for hours shelling on the beach or just watch the surfers or sailboarders. For a small town area, Palm Coast has ample ammenities and within an hour are many great attractions. So something for every taste...families or couples, young or old. Truly a slice of paradise. Excellent overall, with a few minor flaws A guest from Charlet, NC recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in December, 2010 The condo and the beach were fabulous. There were a few flaws: the coffee pot did not work, the pull wand for one side of the vertical blinds in the living room was broken so we could not close the blinds (normally we wouldn't want to, but we had record-low temperatures the first few days of our stay), and there were a couple of burned-out lightbulbs (e.g., over the bathtub in the master bath). Also, the living room furniture wasn't all that comfortable, but I guess that's a matter of personal taste. Overall, we loved the condo and would definitely stay there again. The house cleaner arrived just as we were leaving on Sunday and he helped us roll out our luggage - we greatly appreciated his random act of kindness! If it had not been for the elevator problem and the rocky beach, I would have considered it a good stay. A guest from Cullman, AL recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in May, 2009 I would say the overall stay was OK. The condo unit was clean except for a few dirty spots on the kitchen rug and the king bed's comforter looked like it could use a washing or cleaning. The condo property grounds were well kept. However we had problems with the elevator. Three times during the visit the elevator would not work. We spent a lot of time trying to get up and down the steps to the 6th floor- 100 steps up and 100 steps down carrying items. I'm 60 years old, slightly overweight and it was very hard to manage with the elevator problem. I called several times regarding this situation. The elevator would not work for and hour or two, then either someone would come to see about it or it would "cool down" and it would work again. I was very concerned about the morning we were planning to check out because I just couldn't see how we were going to get everything (luggage, coolers etc.) down the steps. My son and his wife had both had back surgery and knee surgery and it would have almost impossible to get everything down to the vehicles. Management did offer to send someone to help if it was out of order at that time. Thankfully it was working when we packed up to leave and we didn't have to deal with that problem. Also, I was not aware when I rented the condo there was a rocky beach. There are large rocks on the beach that completely block access to the ocean. I've never been to a beach in Florida that had rocks blocking the use of the water. I had a 6 year old grandson and 8 year old granddaughter and they couldn't get in the water. So for three days we just sat there and looked at the ocean. If it had not been for the elevator problem and the rocky beach, I would have considered it a good stay. So i should suffer??!! Lonely, elevator was broken for over 4 days and i was on 6th floor, groceries and moving in were . Also you could not bring coolers or even water/drinks to pool! If i wanted to pay hotel prices for drinks i would have stayed at a hotel instead of a condo!!! Stayed for 7 days in July, 2008 When we arrived, we noticed that the bedspread in the master had dog footprints on it and dog hair on the sheets. The property managers were extremely helpful and replaced the sheets. We also noticed that our daughters' feet started turning black from the dirty carpet. This was really troubling since the condo was beautifully decorated and appeared clean. The location and view were spectacular. I would only recommend that someone clean the carpets or replace with tile and possibly pressure wash the balcony. Cinnamon Beach ! Chad B. from Mount Sterling, KY recommends this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2008 Cinnamon Beach is a very beautiful location. The resort is located in a safe,gated community. The property we stayed in was nicely furnished, and pet friendly. We did feel right at home. We suggest an oceanfront condo when staying at the resort. The view is amazing!! Watch for the dolphins at play early in the mornings or late the evenings. The beach is wonderful for walking, collecting shells, buliding sandcastles, or enjoying the beautiful Flordia weather. I do suggest using cauation when playing in the ocean due to the coral rocks along the beach, and in the water. The pools are nice, and there is a special water area for the kids. We do recommend staying at Cinnamon Beach, and the Plam Coast area. We will stay here again.Also, the staff at Vacation Pros did an outstanding job with booking, direction, lockbox instructions, and handling our account. We really appreciate all their support in making our vacation super!
