Our Sea Isle Village Experience A guest from South Haven, KS recommends this property. Stayed for 33 days in January, 2013 The condo we rented was beautiful and very cozy! The view was georgous! The property staff (Bobbie, Carolyn, & Billy) were very friendly and extremely accommodating. We also enjoyed the many activities that went on during our stay, as well as the tenants. The only negative aspect of our stay was the way the management company handled the rental arrangements. When we moved in, we were told, by the property manager, that we had first choice regarding renting our condo for next year. We said we needed to make sure I could handle the stairs. Two weeks later, we told her we did want the condo, but she informed me that the management company had already rented it to someone else. They also wanted a huge deposit, and payment for our entire stay the day we checked in. We do not feel that is appropriate! Charming, great view; we A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 3 days in November, 2012 Very cheery, roomy, and comfortable. Yellow, white, and an overall Laura Ashley feel. This is a 2nd floor unit so you can see from the balcony over the dunes and grasses to the sea. We were there for Thanksgiving weekend and it was very peaceful and quiet. I'm glad the two units on either side were vacant because if everyone's out on their balconies you're basically on the same balcony...if privacy is an issue.Two words of caution: if you're used to a king or queen bed, you'll find the double beds very "cozy". Also, there is a plastic sheath on the mattresses that's there for practical reasons I'm sure, i.e., in case of "liquids", but in spite of the bed pad above it it doesn't breathe at all and can get you kind of sweaty. We wound up taking the comforter off the spare bed and using it as an extra, cotton layer on top of the mattress. However, this was not a show-stopper and don't let it put you off. Sea Isle Condos A guest from Austin, TX recommends this property. Stayed for 4 days in August, 2012 Great location, nice view of the beach. Police were called on rowdy, drunk neighbors two doors down the first night we were there, but they were apparently asked to leave and did so the next day. Office lady was very apologetic. Blackout curtains would be a nice addition as the sun lights up the room very early in the morning making it hard to sleep in. A box or two of Kleenex and a hair dryer would be nice, too. Curious about $30.00 cleaning charge. When we arrived we were given a list of cleaning instructions to follow before departing. With a few minor changes, it could be ideal!
