Sliding doors very difficult to open. Found broken glass shard in rug. Front door and screen need attention. A great view of Sanibel beach can be had from this property A guest from Greasby Wirral, Merseyside does not recommend this property. Stayed for 21 days in April, 2012 We had three weeks vacation on Sanibel Island, booked through Sanibel-captiva Accommodations, an excellent rental company. The location of the condo was first class, having a sea view. However, the condo had the appearance of being a little 'tired'. The carpet has seen better days and some of the furniture was in need of repair. If the owner spends a little time checking all aspects of the furniture and cleans the carpet the condo will be excellent. Stayed for 7 days in July, 2010 I have to say I was very upset by the amount of phone calls we received complaining about one thing or another in our unit. My husband was very upset with Diane's threat to have us kicked out of our unit on Wednesday, July 7th. As I told Diane when I spoke to her, we have been renting one unit or another at Loggerhead Cay for about twenty years and never before has anyone ever complained, therefore, I believe some exaggeration was involved on behalf of the two women renting beneath us, who did all the complaining. They had issues of their own which bothered us, but we dealt with them. I think the threat was not a good way to handle the situation. My husband was extremely upset by this, which really put a bad taste in our mouths about our stay. As for the unit itself, our only complaints are the same as last year's: the stained carpet and several roaches.
