The luxury continues in the appointment of our 5 bedrooms and 3½ baths. Four of the bedrooms contain king beds; the fifth has a queen, and there is a queen hideaway bed as well for overflow! I must admit, initially I didn't think I would like the place, but once I entered the premises, I fell in love with it. It was a great place to relax and entertain during our stay. My favorite place in the house was the kitchen and master suite.Staying in St. Augustine was not only beautiful but educational for my family. We did have a few issues; televisions were not working, dining room chair broke, wobbley furniture in one of the guest rooms, and the jacuzzi didn't work.I contacted guest services and they were very friendly, but we were very disappointed that the jacuzzi didn't work the entire week. We were also glad no one got hurt when the chair collapsed. I think the mansion needs to be regularly maintained, should have some upgrades on furniture, and needs a television in every room. This would have made our stay more enjoyable. It is a case of pennywise and poundfoolish. For this type of rental, you should be providing not only toilet paper, but really soft toilet paper, and good soaps/shampoos. Instead, you will be forever in our mind as the place with no toilet paper. Also, having TVs in each room isn't very good if they don't work. Stayed for 7 days in August, 2010 There were problems with the house cleaners getting into the house so they were still cleaning when we got there. They must have been rushed because the floors were dirty and there was dog hair. The mgt office was supposed to call me and keep me up to date on the situation and never did. There was also no garbage can so our garbage collected in the garage and stunk up the house. Garbage pick up should really be later in the week, not Monday. If these issues were corrected, the rest was great. The house is beautiful. Great location.
