Land's End 3-401 Kevin C. from Acton, ON recommends this property. Stayed for 13 days in April, 2013 The staff at Waterfront Vacation Rentals are wonderful, especially Carrie. The Land's End property is well manicured and maintained. We felt very safe and overall it was wonderful. My only complaint was our actual unit. The space was huge and the kitchen was remodelled and lovely. However, the furniture is very old, everything needed a good cleaning, which I had to do before I could cook in the kitchen. The pots/pans/bowls, dinnerware, glassware and every utensil was dirty and very old. I actually went out and purchased utensils/dinnerware/glassware for my family to use. Our family will definately stay at Land's End again, however, we will not stay in unit 3-401 ever again. We travelled down with another family, who stayed in 10-405 and their unit was gorgeous. This condo is not a good option for a family with children Kathy N. from Lecanto, FL does not recommend this property. Stayed for 7 days in June, 2012 The view was beautiful, looking out over the intercoastal water way, but the bars on the other side were living **** after 11pm. the music and yelling kept us up every single night, guess these people dont have jobs to go to or they are on a long vacation. The condo staff were lacking any social skills from the moment I arrived, the gate attendant threw my papers at me and told me to fill them out it wasnt his job. I had called the rental office to inquire about what each paper was and filled out the two she told me to??? Then the pool staff were extremely unreasonably!!!! we had a 5 year old and a 2 year old who we played with in the water with fish that filled with water and were told no toys in the pool?? but noodles were allowed?? We were also yelled at because the 2 year old "ran" in the pool area, obviously these guys dont know how a 2 year old wobbles. These guys were really unreasonable. we were the only ones in there one morning and he still was yelling. I would never recommend this condo to anyone. The hall closet door fell off every time we opened it, my husband kept fixing it and it kept falling off, there was no toilet paper, which i would think they would supply?? for the amount of money i would have expected something a little more put together. left a day early because of noise!! and staff Property Manager Response: Response from Waterfront Vacation Rentals Inc. Of the thousands of people we have placed at Lands End, this is the only complaint we have ever heard about the staff there. Over the 4th of July, most properties have to hire help to maintain the pool and parking areas. Lands End did hire someone, perhaps they took the job very seriously. Lands End has been advised of this review. Directions are sent with the check in package as to what needs to be completed and given to the guard at the gate. In the policies and procedures (on our website, on every webpage and sent with the confirmation) it states that a start up of toilet paper and paper towels are provided, and it is up to the guest to be prepared to supply their own. Lands End 3. 401 Sunset Beach A guest from Hertfordshire, St Albans recommends this property. Stayed for 19 days in May, 2012 Location and views from the condo were outstanding. Communal gardens and areas were all kept extremely well which is why we have vacationed at Lands End over the last eight years. My only disappointment was that in this particular property the bathrooms were very tired and on their last legs. I also had to hand scour eight of the mugs to remove tea stains. The management company were extremely efficient and helpful when fixing an AC problem over memorial weekend. I look forward to my next vacation at this location. Stayed for 10 days in September, 2011 We have stayed here several times (different condos) This condo needs some major updating. & maintenance. Arrived, no AC, ice maker does not work, TV was not working, lock on closet door broke, DVD not connected, shower door off track, screen doors do not roll on track. We could go on. The location is great, but the condo not so. Also was a little surprised that the rental agent walked in on us, should have known we were there since it was 2 days into our reservation. The condo needs a few updates/maintenance. The washer/dryer did not work, the bedroom screen door was off track, the 2nd bedroom windows leaked during heavy rain, balcony door was difficult to open/shut. There was comunication issues between owner and leasing company, real estate company showed up our first day and wanted to show condo(and did so). On a positive note, the kitchen was recently updated and looks very nice, the views were great, close walk to the ocean or bay. overall I would rate this a 7 out of 10.
