Mission Beach

Mission Beach is located on a sandbar between Mission Bay and the Pacific Ocean and is part of San Diego. Mission Beach is nearly two miles long and a boardwalk runs along the beaches on both the ocean and bay sides of the community. Mission Bay actually is a man-made water park, and it is the largest aquatic park in the United States. Wakeboarding, sunbathing, and jet skiing are very popular at Mission Beach. Mission is also home to the world famous SeaWorld, one of San Diego's most recognizable attractions. There are many great water parks in the United States, but Mission Bay and SeaWorld are something no one should miss.
