While North Carolina's Outer Banks is a more well known area, the southern coast is fast becoming a beacon for travelers, especially when you consider that water temperatures can be up to 10 degrees warmer. Four of the most popular beach areas are Holden Beach, Ocean Isle, Sunset Beach, and Topsail Island.
