Daytona Beach is the definite spring break destination for party-goers on Florida's Atlantic Coast. One great attraction of the beach is sea turtle season. From May to October, the endangered Green Sea Turtle is the beach's most unusual visitor, laying eggs and sprouting approximately 100 baby Green Sea Turtles each season.

Daytona Beach details
Daytona Beach is also known as the "Birthplace of Speed" and is home to nine different go-karting or speed racing parks, including the Daytona International Speedway, which hosts NASCAR events. For those who like to live life at a slower pace, the shores of Daytona Beach provide a myriad of cruises and boating tours to go on. Parasailing, water skiing and surfing are all big businesses in the area and there are plenty instruction schools and companies around to help you get started. Nightlife is huge in Daytona Beach and its surrounding areas. Dozens of nightclubs, bars, lounges and karaoke bars are open nightly. Retail is not a strong point in Daytona but there are a variety of boutiques, candy stores and specialty shops to find souvenirs and other trinkets to commemorate your visit. When shopping and sunbathing tire you out, refuel in one of Daytona's 64 restaurants.
