Marco Island details

Landlubbers can find entertainment in Marco Island's three resort golf courses: the Hilton/Marco Island Beach Resort, the Marco Island Marriott Resort and Rookery at Marco Golf Club. For a little more excitement, a tour of the Everglades with Everglades Rentals and Eco-Tours or Everglade Islands Airboat Tours is more than sufficient. The tours offers a visitor the chance to get up-close and personal with some of Florida most exotic animals in their natural habitat. While by no means chic, shopping is a viable option on Marco Island. The island offers its Town Centre Mall and the Esplanade Shoppes that overlook picturesque Smokehouse Bay. After a day at the mall, a little eating is in order. Marco Island offers 63 restaurants with the most notable being Blu Fusion, a progressive American seafood and steak eatery, and Captain Brien's Seafood and Raw Bar.
